Kiki was born in the beautiful mountain city of Chongqing in West China, where her family were into the arts, encouraging Kiki from a young age to try her hand at different disciplines, paying for lessons in painting, music and dance. From a young age Kiki developed a love of clothing and fashion, in the end enrolling to Zhongshan Fashion College. After graduation, Kiki worked in various clothing brands as a designer, and later Creative Director. Her big break came when she worked as a general costume designer for the Beijing Olympic Games. Kiki says she’s inspired by “the colors and forms in nature”, and blends these ethnic characteristics with an international style, producing a range of sophisticated, elegant dresses.
